Wejo 'Versus' Social Films

Social-first film campaign simplifying connected vehicle data

Connected vehicle data can be complex, technical and hard to visualise. This suite of short social films for Wejo was designed to cut through that complexity and communicate the value of connected vehicle data in a simple, engaging and highly shareable way.

Aimed primarily at retail and angel investors, the films focused on real-world benefits rather than technical detail—showing how Wejo’s data could make everyday experiences easier and safer. From smarter parking and in-car payments to accident prevention and faster responses to adverse weather, each film distilled a key advantage into a memorable, human scenario.

To further build trust and credibility, the films featured Wejo’s founder, helping raise his profile and putting a clear, relatable face to the business. The tone was deliberately playful and accessible, helping Wejo stand out in a category often dominated by dry, functional messaging.

The films were seeded across multiple social platforms as part of a wider investor-focused communications strategy. I co-wrote the scripts with Amy McSherry and led the creative direction, as well as supporting the direction of the films themselves.
