Charity advertising & fundraising campaigns for a homelessness charity
Advertising and marketing support for Mustard Tree, a Manchester-based charity working to prevent homelessness and support people rebuilding their lives.
The work spanned a range of creative activity, including the development of Christmas fundraising materials built around real, first-hand stories from people who had experienced homelessness and been supported by Mustard Tree. These stories were used to create emotionally resonant Christmas cards and communications designed to drive awareness, empathy and donations.
The project also included a live fundraising stunt in which I voluntarily went homeless for 24 hours, experiencing first-hand the realities of life on the streets in order to raise funds and spark conversation around homelessness in Manchester. This activity formed part of Red Sea Marketing’s wider commitment to supporting a chosen charity partner.
Across all activity, the focus was on authentic storytelling, human-centred messaging and creative work that respected the lived experiences of the people Mustard Tree exists to support.
