Turning Manchester anthems into curry-flavoured culture
Social media and in-restaurant advertising created for one of Manchester’s best-loved independent curry houses in Didsbury.
The campaign took iconic Manchester song lyrics and reworked them with playful curry-inspired wordplay, turning familiar cultural references into shareable, tongue-in-cheek poster ads. Designed to live both on social channels and on the restaurant’s walls, the work was about creating social currency as much as footfall, giving customers something to smile at, photograph, and share.
Shot simply and designed boldly, the posters celebrated local pride, food culture, and humour, proving that small, independent brands can punch well above their weight when the idea is right.
