Project Inc animated film and identity

Using creativity to give neurodiverse children a voice

Branding and animated fundraising film for Project Inc, a Stockport-based charity supporting neurodiverse children to express themselves through art.

Project Inc helps children with mental, emotional and neurodiverse challenges explore their creativity as a way to communicate, connect and be understood. With only limited local authority funding, the charity relies heavily on donations to continue its work.

As a pro-bono project, I developed the concept and script for a fundraising film that sensitively captured the importance of Project Inc’s mission without sentimentality or cliché. The film uses animation to reflect the children’s inner worlds, celebrating creativity as both an outlet and a voice.

The illustration style was developed in collaboration with Enzo Esposito, with animation produced by the in-house APS Group animation team I built and led as Group Creative Director. The project formed part of a wider commitment to using our creative skills to give back to the local community and support causes that genuinely make a difference.
