Branding, photography, design and tone of voice for Son of Steak, a challenger steak restaurant concept launched by Mitchells & Butlers in Nottingham and London.

Conceived as a steak-led alternative to Nando’s, Son of Steak was designed to appeal to a younger, social-first audience looking for high-quality food in a relaxed, modern setting. I helped shape the brand from the ground up, delivering the visual identity, in-restaurant graphics, photography, social assets, and a distinctive tone of voice built to stand out in a crowded casual dining market.

The work focused on making steak feel accessible, playful, and culturally relevant — combining bold branding, confident copy, and highly shareable visuals to create a brand with strong social currency both in-restaurant and online.
